Wish List | May 2015

Tuesday, May 19, 2015

If you know me at all, you will know that I love target.  I visit Target at least once a week and I feel like I should have my own personal princess parking spot at all the Target because I spend so much money there.  Just recently I've been really into skincare, and more specifically Asian skincare.  I was really excited to to see that Target started selling Laneige products not too long ago and I've noticed Target started selling other Asian skincare products exclusively online.  So it's definitely natural for me to dedicate a whole wish list to the skincare products that Target sells exclusively online.

Laneige Multiberry Yogurt Peeling Gel - $22 | I don't know what it is about me, but I want to try all the different skincare products that I can get my hands on.  I have Laneige's sleeping mask at home and have tried it a couple of times, and have some other sample size products from their hydration line.  Unfortunately they don't sell their Multiberry line in store so I've definitely have been lusting over this for a few months now!

Mizon Bee Venom Calming Fresh Cream - $40 | This is brand spanking new to me!  I was browsing Target's website the other week and saw what looked like a Mizon product on their beauty front page and got excited.  I typed in "Mizon" in their search bar and was surprised to find a bunch of Mizon products on there!  Mizon is a pretty well known Korean brand, at least I think so, and I've never seen this particular product in any of the asian websites that I would go to to purchase Korean skincare products.  Unfortunately, $40 is a bit steep even if it's something I really want to try.  For now, I'll just keep an eye out for the product and hope there'll be a sale on the website or something.

Laneige Multiberry Yogurt Repairing Mask - $25 | Out of everything on this list, I think I'm most excited about this one!  For some reason, I love the idea of masks and getting my hands on all the different ones in the market.  I think this will definitely be mine sooner or later, just need to get through some of the products I currently have to feel comfortable buying this.

Hada Labo Tokyo Introductory Kit - $20.49 | I believe Hada Labo is a popular Japanese product, correct me if I'm wrong.  I'm not too familiar with Japanese brands but I have heard of this brand and I thought you can only get it at Ulta.  Luckily Target sells some of their full size products, along with this introductory set and another set.  I thought this set would be a great introduction into the Hada Labo brand!

Are there any online exclusive products from Target that you've been wanting to get your hands on?

Wishlist | April 2015

Another month, another wish list!  This time I thought I would do it on a list of things I've been eyeing at Sephora, since their VIB sale thing is just around the corner.  Unfortunately, (or maybe thankfully...) I'm still not a VIB so I won't have access to the sales until Friday.  But I can always drool over things online right...?

Origins GinZing Extra-Zing Energizing Kit - $22 | I've heard many wonderful things about the GinZing line from Origins and I thought this would be an awesome introduction to not only the line, but also the brand for me.  It comes with a moisturizer, cleanser and an eye cream, which is kind of pricey since Tarte's travel size maracuja oil and the eye cream is only $12.

YSL Volupte Tint-In-Oil - $32 | Holy cow, so many people on youtube has raved about this product so I am quite excited to see how it is for myself!  I have gone inside sephora and have swatched it a few times and I have to say, there really isn't much pigmentation to these.  But I would still love to get my hands on these and try one, especially since it'll be my very first YSL product!  The shade I'm eyeing, which unfortunately is sold out online, is Cherry Me Cherie.  That seems to be the most pigmented out of the bunch.

Bite Beauty Butter Cream Lipstick - $28 | I've been itching to get my little hands on a Bite lipstick for a while now and I don't really know why I chose this particular one out of all of their different lipstick lines.... maybe it's because it's the newest?  I don't quite understand the whole hand cut concept and the fact that it's a flat top bullet, unlike all the traditional slant top bullets.  I don't have any particular shades in mind, but I'm sure I'll find some after I swatch around a bit!

Sephora Favorites The Great Cleanse - $48 | I don't remember where I first saw this but ever since I saw it, I've been lusting over it!  It's been a long maybe 3-4 months of me stalking Sephora's website hoping this will go on sale, but that hasn't happened...yet?  This set contains so many products from different brands that I would love to try, but $48 is a little out of my comfort zone to splurge on something that's over $35 without any sales or gift card or something.

These are on my to-buy list for the current Sephora VIB sale.  I know for a fact I'll most likely pick up one of the lip products but I'm unsure about the others.  Just can't bring myself to spend more than $50 in one go at Sephora buying just a handful of things... What are some of the things on your wish list for the current VIB sale?

Wishlist | February 2015

Friday, February 13, 2015

It's that time of the month again, where I'll be talking about products I've been itching to hoard.  This time I have a list of drugstore-ish lip products that I've been lusting over since I found out about them.  I mentioned that these products are drugstore-ish because although they have drugstore prices, you can't find all of them at your local drugstores.

First up on the list is Colour Pop's Lippie Stix.  I have no idea where and when this brand came out but I noticed back in October of 2014, a BUNCH of youtubers were raving about the brand.  There're so many shades that I would probably spend a good amount of time looking up swatches.  I think the best part about this brand is that all their products are all affordable!  I couldn't believe their Lippie Stix is only $5 each!  That is cheaper than some lipsticks we have at the drugstores!  The one downside is that you have to order their products online.  I'm most likely going to get my hands on these some time later this year, and I'm super excited for it!

Next we have Jordana's Modern Matte lipstick.  I believe these are new products that started appearing at Walgreens and Kmart back in January while the official launch date is actually February.  Honestly these matte lipsticks are the reason why I haven't allowed myself to step inside Walgreens lately.  I know that if I see them, I'll be too tempted to get it so in order to avoid buying it, I just don't go to the store at all.

Then there is Hard Candy's Plumping Serum Gel Stick.  I believe I heard about these from emilynoel83 on youtube, if not another youtuber, raving about this.  I was intrigued but unfortunately I don't have a Walmart near me (closest one is actually about 30 minutes away!), and Walmart doesnt sell it online!  I'm sure I'll eventually make it to a Walmart that sells Hard Candy eventually, but until then I'll just be lusting over these.

Lastly it's Milani's Color Statement Moisture Matte Lipstick.  I believe these just launched this month but people have been finding them since January.  There are 8 shades and I'm eyeing the red one in Matte Confident.  I currently have a weak spot for red lippies, especially matte ones.  For some reason I just think matte red lips are so classic.

I honestly see most, if not all of these, in my hoard collection before the year is over.  I can feel that I will be hunting these down sooner or later.  My challenge to myself is to see how long I can go on before I cave and purchase any one of these.

Have you tried any of these?  If so, what are your thoughts on them?

Monthly Wishlist: November 2014

Another month and another small list of things I've been lusting over.  This month I decided to include things other than makeup.

Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac ($195).  I've been lusting this bag for the past year or so already.  I honestly think it's just a bit over-hyped from youtube beauty gurus, but it is pretty!  I think white with gold hardware would look gorgeous, but I'm scared the white leather will end up being stained from my pants.  Black with gold hardware is the next best option for me, but I doubt I'll be getting this anytime soon.

Mac Lipstick in Plumful ($16).  I swear this all started with a picture on tumblr.  I saw a picture on tumblr, and went on a crazy search to figure out what the shade was.  I don't own any Mac lipsticks but this will definitely be my first one when I decide to get one in the future.

Sephora Collection Rouge Infusion Lip Stain ($14). This lusting started way back in the beginning of the year when Tati did a sephora haul on her youtube channel.  She picked one of these up, raved about it, and I've been lusting since then.  I've swatched it at Sephora before and it definitely does stain my hands.  I think I haven't picked this up mainly because it's so pigmented and I don't usually wear pigmented lip products yet.

Foreo Luna Mini ($139). This was raved by April from AprilAthena7 a while ago.  I do think this is an awesome alternative to the famous Clarisonic.  With Clarisonic, you'll need to replace the brush head about 3-4 times a year and each brush head cost $20+.  That is over $50 worth of upkeep per year to use the Clarisonic!  Now with the Foreo Luna Mini, you buy this and you don't need to replace anything.

What are some of the products you guys have been lusting over lately?

Monthly Wishlist: October 2014

Wednesday, October 15, 2014

Its that time of the month where I get to show you guys what I've been itching to get my hands on.  Most of the items in this month's wish list are from the holiday collections and/or value sets.  I think those are such an awesome way to expose yourself to products from expensive brands that I would normally not buy.

Anyways, onto this month's wish list products:

Monthly Wishlist: September 2014

Wednesday, September 17, 2014

I am always lusting over things I don't have and my wish list is over a mile long.  I thought I would share some of it every month.  Sooo... here are the items in my wish list for September 2014:

Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask.  This product has been raved by every other youtuber and blogger.  I honestly don't know anything about this product besides that its pretty thick and makes a great overnight lip treatment.  I've heard the metal packaging can be difficult to deal with as well.  Currently I believe you can only get this at Sephora for $26.  I don't think I will be getting this for a while because I have a product that I love for my overnight lip treatment and I am happy with it.  If I ever feel fancy and find myself with a spare $30, I will pick it up; but until then, I won't be losing sleep over wanting this product.

Too Faced La Creme Lipsticks.  I swear I've heard almost every youtuber I've subscribed to rave about Too Faced La Creme lipsticks.  I honestly didn't really care for it since the price tag of $22 is a bit steep for me.  However, there are some shades I've been lusting and I wouldn't mind trying them out when I have a bit more disposable cash on hand.  Some of the shades I've been lusting over are: Sweet Maple, Divine Wine, Bumbleberry, Loganberry, and Teddy Berry.

Sephora Collection Kiss Me Balm.  I remembered seeing this on musingofamuse's post and after seeing her swatch of the shade Soda Pop, I knew that had to be in my possession one of these days.  I believe eleventhgorgeous also featured these in one of their sephora haul videos a few months ago.  You can find these for $8 at sephora and I have a strong feeling Soda Pop will be mine within the next year or so.

Too Faced Melted Berry.  Holy cow!  This particular shade was literally love at first swatch for me!  Last week I had some spare time so I roamed around Ulta swatching things, like usual.  For some reason I ended up at the Too Faced counter and decided to swatch their Melted lipsticks.  I remembered being disappointed that I didn't like any of their original shades but this time I came across the new shade Melted Berry.  I don't follow high end makeup brands as closely as I follow drugstore brands, since I can't afford the high end brands as easily, so I wasn't aware Too Faced came out with new shades to their melted lipstick line.  (I thought the new shades were limited edition shades for the Holidays...)  Anyways, I came across Melted Berry and decided to sheer out the color for my swatch and fell in love with the shade!  I probably would have purchased it that day if they had it on the shelves, but luckily for my wallet, they didn't.  I will say I am most likely purchasing this during sephora's VIB sale later on this year and I can't wait to sport it during the holiday season.  I honestly think $21 is a pretty good deal, especially for me since I will only wear a sheer layer of it so it should last me quite a while.

These are the products I've been lusting over, some longer than the others.  I didn't think my first wish list would be all lip products, but it just happened this way.  I honestly can't wait to have some of these in my hands to play with in the future.

Have you tried any of these items before?  And what are some of the things you've been lusting on?
